Partial autonomy

At the touch of a button, the system autonomously moves the crane to the destination, finds the target - such as a delivery truck - and performs the defined activity. It avoids obstacles during travel and always observes any configured rules, e.g. „do not drive a full grapple or hook over a vehicle“. Commonly defined functions are „Drive to source and pick up goods“ and „Drive to destination and deposit goods“. Multiple source and destination locations are possible.


Crucially, the system works with goods that are transported on vehicles or other delicate infrastructure. It will take great care to avoid stanchions or other superstructure on vehicles such as trucks or trailers or rail cars. A vehicle does not need to be perfectly parked: As long as it is near the pre-defined position, AutoCrane will find it.
