Our waypoint assistant simplifies repetitive crane operations by allowing the crane operator to record the positions and movements of the grab or hook and recall them later.



Record Waypoints


At the touch of a button, the system saves the current position and orientation of the grapple or hook. Later, with a single press of a button, the crane automatically returns to the saved position and orientation—quickly, safely, and precisely.



Store entire journey


Alternatively, crane operators can record the entire path of the grapple or hook from start to finish and review it later. This can even be done in conjunction with hook guidance: In this case, an  operator on the ground pulls the hook or grapple along the desired route, which is then recorded for automated playback later. 


This feature reduces operator workload, speeds up routine tasks, and ensures consistent, repeatable positioning, which is especially useful in environments where specific pick-up or drop-off points are regularly used.

If the system detects an impending collision between the grapple or hook and any object in the crane's working area, it creates an alert on the HMI and stops the crane. When used with partial or full autonomy, the system will circumvent the obstacle.
